The Big Chalk

On the 4th July 2009 the Art Gallery opened its doors for the first time to sell Art work that has been produced by our children. Also, back by popular demand was the Big Chalk which ran along side the Art Gallery. Both were a fantastic success. 129 children took part in the Big Chalk by drawing a self portrait on the school playground and the photographs below are of the winning entries. The total amout raised from the Art Gallery and the Big Chalk was £383.00 which will be used to pay for new art experiences such as batik and wire sculpture.
